About the Role:
As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll serve as the face of American Mattress in one of our local showrooms. You’ll work one-on-one with customers to help them find the perfect sleep solution, while earning competitive pay through base compensation, commission, and performance bonuses. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service with a personal touch.
- Learn about our mattress products and help customers find the right fit.
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom that reflects our brand standards.
- Handle basic operational tasks including inventory, point-of-sale, and opening/closing duties.
- Stay up to date on promotions, new products, and customer needs.
- Take ownership of your store’s daily performance and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations throughout Metro Detroit.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for helping people and providing a great customer experience.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Sales or customer service experience is helpful—but not required.
